sad boyWe connect the community to children in crisis through the love of reading and ensure the experience is a rewarding one for all.

Our individualized approach gets your book donations to a local crisis program that serves an issue close to your heart.

We serve Lake County youth up to 18 years old who are in serious physical, economical, emotional, or mental health crisis situations. Many of these children live in homeless shelters, safe houses, or residential treatment facilities.

Every book, every dollar, and every minute you give means a lot to a child who has so little and goes through so much.
